Our Story
Since 1976, Bedrock Quartz has been dedicated to precision, premium materials, and exceptional service, becoming Utah’s #1 stone fabricator.
A Simple Start
Dave Jorgensen first founded Topcraft as a laminate countertop provider, focusing on quality and timely service.
Family Focused
For the next 25 years, Dave taught his sons—Alan, Eric, and Steve—to work by having them help him fabricate and install countertops.
A Rebrand
In 2002, Topcraft rebranded as Bedrock Quartz as we phased out laminate and solid surface countertops in favor of stone.
Setting the Gold Standard
Today, we are the largest stone fabricator in Utah, installing over 30 dream kitchens per day, with over 1,000 five-star reviews and nine showrooms across the state.

Alan Jorgensen | CEO
I started going to work with my dad when I was about 6 or 7. He taught me how to work over the years, and we always focused on doing the job right the first time. I love seeing the beautifully finished kitchens our customers ask us to make for them.
Eric Jorgensen | Production
I started working with my Dad as a kid, and 30-plus years later, I still find this an exciting business. We love staying on the cutting edge of what technology can help us create, from digital templates to water jets.
Steve Jorgensen | Sales
I grew up building countertops with my dad and brothers. I had a variety of jobs in sales over the years until I started working full-time with Bedrock in 2002.
