FINALIZING YOUR ORDER

Before template:

 

  • • All estimates, layouts, and material waivers must be signed and returned to us before templating.
  • • A 100% deposit is required before the job is scheduled. Payment of the deposit is considered an agreement to the proposal.
  • • Please ensure that the templater has clear access to areas to be measured.
  • • All cabinet work must be attached, in a permanent position, leveled, and secured. Any brackets must be installed on the cabinetry.
  • • Any alterations required to cabinets or substructure must be completed before templating.
  • • Cabinets that sit on the countertops must be removed before template/install and reinstalled at least 24 hours after new countertops have been installed.
  • • Make/model numbers for faucets, cooktops, and slide-in ranges (controls on front and filler counter in back) have been provided to Bedrock Quartz before templating.

Customer-supplied sinks and cooktops must be on site.

 

  • • If a farm-style sink is used, the cabinet must be built or modified by the cabinet maker before measuring can be done. The top of the sink must be flush with the top of the cabinets.
  • • The faucets and faucet holes and the placement of each hole to be drilled are determined and verified on the sales order.

 

A Return Trip Charge will be assessed for items not on-site at the time of template.

 

Holes drilled at the time of installation will incur an extra charge.

 

• Newer dishwashers will attach to the sides of the cabinet, not at the top. If Bedrock Quartz handles the tear-out of your old countertops, we will install a metal bracket that spans a 24″ dishwasher opening if necessary. Remember to discuss this option with your salesperson.

Prior to template:

 

  • • Clear off counters so the templators can accurately measure counters and walls.
  • • In some cases, like with existing tile countertops, removing the counters before the measuring process is best. Usually, laminate can be measured with the existing counters in place.
  • • Mirrors mounted above backsplashes or countertops are the responsibility of the homeowner or builder. Existing mirrors are to be removed before the installation of the backsplash. Mirrors will only be reinstalled after the marble/granite installation is complete. We are not responsible for damaged mirrors not removed before field measuring or installation.
  • • All appliance garages (storage areas) must be removed before field measurements.

 

If you choose to cancel your job and the material has already been cut, no refund will be issued. Bedrock Quartz will retain $350 of the deposit and any restocking or return fees if your project has been templated but not cut.
